The Sweetest Things...

Addisyn is afraid of thunder. The noise is too much and she hates it. To help with this a little bit we have been telling her that they are bowling up in heaven and that all of the noise is the bowling ball knocking over the bowling pins. Of course she just giggles and says "that is silly" and isn't too convinced that there really is a bowling game going on.

Tonight as I was leaving my sister-in-law's house and putting Addi in the car it was raining and there was thunder. My conversation with Addi went something like this:

Addi: Mommy they are bowling again.

Me: It is really loud, they must be having a really good time up there.

Addi: I want to go up there.

Me: Up where?

Addi: Up there to help them bowling.

Me: I think that would be fun but I don't think we can get up there yet.

Addi: We need to get "suction cups" to help climb up there. We need to buy some suction cups on our shoes so we can climb up that mountain to help them.

Me: Suctions cups are a great idea. Who are you going to help?

Addi: I need to get suction cups so I can help my friend Jesus, and my friend the boy and my friend the girl do bowling.

I really wish I had a little tape recorder running 24/7 so I could remember all of the cute, funny little things she says. She is so sweet and she has the greatest imagination.

Forgotten....

I decided to use my SLR camera yesterday to take pictures of Addi while she was playing outside. Apparently, I haven't used it for a long time. So long, in fact, that the battery was dead because my camera had been on (in the bag) the entire time and I had forgotten what pictures I had even taken with it. BRILLIANT! Needless to say I was a little bugged, but when pulled out the card and plugged it into my computer I instantly began to grin and giggle.

I had completely forgotten about these pictures and they all just make me smile!

Pedicures...

Addi and Maycie were so proud of their "beautiful" toes. They were both giggling and grinning as they showed me what they had done with the sidewalk chalk.

Addisyn's Bike

I LOVE Addi's expressions.

She just wanted to ride her bike and it was too much to have me taking pictures of her.
