Easter at Nana's

I know I am behind on my blogging - infact, I am really behind.  HOWEVER, I figure for my sake (and yours or course)  LATE IS BETTER THAN NEVER!

This year we got to spend Easter Weekend in St. George with Nana and Papa, and some of Jason's fun family.  We got to spend time with Carsyn, Kaytlyn, Dallin and Vikki which doesn't happen all that often.  As usual, Nana, who is always planning fun activities for the kids, had fun Easter activities ready and planned for each day of the weekend.

Day 1:  Dye eggs with the kids, play Easter Bingo with skittles, and make fun Easter Bunny or chick puppets.

Day 2:  Easter Morning - Find Easter Baskets and Easter Eggs

Easter Afternoon
We had an Easter Egg Hunt outside for all of the kids.  Each kid was assigned a certain color and could only find that color of egg - No fighting and whining that way.
Kaytlyn and Dallin teamed up to find their eggs which were hidden "Hard".  One of their eggs was burried in the playground gravel, one up on top of Papa's shed roof, one shoved under a pile of rocks, and one was even put iside the tongue of a trailer.  If you notice - There were no limits for hiding their eggs.

Prizes
The eggs were filled with candy (of course), money, and prize papers.  Nana had gotten each of the kids little prizes to go along with their egg hunt and had even wrapped their prizes in tissue paper that matched their plastic egg color.  It was so fun to see the excitement on their faces as they counted their candy, and opened their prizes.

Easter Weekend was a great mix of watching conference, spending time with family, enjoying the sunny weather, dying easter eggs, egg hunts, and eating LOTS and LOTS of CHOCOLATE!
